“Bislan and his family – the Chechens are coming” documents the networking process of the family Emiyev in the project “All in the same boat” of the series “Land in sight” and is also a project of encounter and hope: Joachim Eckl gave 12 photos to Bislan Emiyev and his family which they could sell as part of the exhibition in the asylum camp. Bislan Emiyev said after the exhibition in December 2006: “It’s unbelievable, I feel like a human being again. People came and wanted to talk to me. They were interested in our lives.” 11 of the 12 photos have been sold in the exhibition.
