Donau-Körper
Aktion in Kooperation mit dem Kunstmuseum Lentos/Linz

Bei der Aktion Donau-Körper waren ca.700 Menschen in 60 Teams beteiligt. Über einen Zeitraum von ca. 4 Monaten haben sie in etwa die Menge an Wasser aus der Donau geschöpft, die im Leben durch einen Menschen-Körper fließt. So ist über die Zeit eine lebendige Containerinstallation im Lentosfreiraum entstanden. Alle Wasser-Schöpfungen wurden vom Umweltlabor des Landes O.Ö. aufwendig untersucht und analysiert. Am Ende der Aktion wurden die ca.48.000 Liter Wasser als Quellgrund für einen neuen Donauzufluss verwendet und sind so wieder in den Fluss eingeflossen.

Around 700 people were involved in 60 teams in the Danube Body campaign. Over a period of about 4 months, they have drawn approximately the amount of water from the Danube that flows through a human body in life. In this way, a lively container installation was created in the Lentos open space over time. The water from each container was extensively examined and analysed by the environmental laboratory of Upper Austria. At the end of the project, the approximately 48,000 liters of water were used as a source for a new Danube inflow and thus flowed back into the river.
