In the Performance “Fortune-funding”Governor Dr. Josef Ratzenböck bet the Cultural Subsidy Award he had awarded before on a colour (red!) of his choice. The money of the Award from the public service, which had been funded from taxpayers, was presented in silver coins in a piggy bank on artificial turf with pearls. The Governor smashed the piggy bank using a hammer. He then changed the pieces of silver into play money and finally turned the money into profit. The Governor doubled the amount after the “Fortune-funding” and paid a considerable sum of sponsoring money to the Casino in Linz. The exhibition project “Bodies & Brains” in New York was then financed by this.
