HEIM.ART® is a neologism which works with the regional sound and meaning of the german word for homeland: Heimat. Joachim Eckl started creating this term and enterprise in 1996. He deals with the notion of discovering and visualizing present, traditional values as well as developing innovative and sustainable possibilities for the valley and the whole region. With the help of a national and international network of friends, artists and experts he works on the basic topics water, art- and cultural tools, images of human being and agriculture. The mutual basis is a shared system of values. A large number of events like seminars, exhibitions and concerts have been organised in the past years by HEIM.ART®, located in Unternberg near Neufelden/Mühlviertel.
