Station Neufelden

This installation is a kind of tomb. An artificial source of light sheds light over lined up objects upon a false door with 2 human figures. When somebody enters the space, his presence changes the interplay of light and shade and at the same time the appearance of this staged reality of things (res = thing).

In this enclosed reality of this chamber lies the importance of the myth of Isis and Osiris. The viewer watches a field of reflection that changes all the time. His experiences create new connections and links between the shown objects and perception and people’s thoughts and feelings. A picture is being created assembled of fragments. Its dynamic works with the very nature of human beings and light.
