Land in sight - Stifter anchoring

A Coproduction of HEIM.ART® and Landestheater Linz

Scenic large scale performance for the Stifter year

25th of June & 2nd of July 2005
Station Neufelden

In 2005, 12 different scenic spaces were the basis of the large scale-performance titling “A Stifter anchoring” within the series “Land in Sight” which took place on the occasion of the Stifter year 2005. The ship “Grünberg” landed as “Stifter’s dream ship” in the Station, coming from the Traunsee (26 tons, 23 metres long). Derailed train sets, hunting horns, mobile pictures of landscape on tractors, clay pigeon shooters, fly fishermen, opera singers, wind machines, water clouds, woodworkers, firemen, dead deer and much more formed the basic conditions for a current experience of Stifter. Only original texts from Stifter were used. Besides actors and technicians from the Landestheater Linz also many people from the local population took part in this big Stifter-picture – playing their every day roles.
