The element of water is the primordial element of human interaction. This element and the rivers along which people live play a decisive and connecting role in the River to River projects working as a cultural bridge. Within the habitat of rivers and involved people from Africa, the Czech Republic and Austria different cultures and a mutual relation to water determine the social manners. Mutual drawing and flowing of water becomes the expression of a common world – and life-spirit. The students of the grammar school Neufelden let the water of the river “Große Mühl” join the Moldova on May 29th 2009. Standing on the bridge and letting join the water they brought along they showed the future to the Moldova. (All waters of all rivers of the world are connected in a global closed water cycle and will merge in the future). The students followed the merged water of the two rivers in their walk along the riverside of the Moldova and then collected the new creature of the river “Große Mühl and the Moldova” a few kilometres downstream in a mutual drawing-action.

The united waters of the river "Große Mühl" and the Moldova are shown in the installation "Mühlwasserraum" - a permanent exhibition - in "Der Station" Neufelden.
