"The Ice-Pyramid" - A project by Joachim Eckl/Austria

February/March 2010

In this project 25.000 litres of Nile water have been transformed into an ice-pyramid. This ice-monument refers to time and the sun. It was built in March 2009 in the Egyptian desert near Faiyum.

The New Bibliotheca Alexandrina now shows a selection of photos of the project as part of the exhibition “Agenda 2010”.
