The artist Joachim Eckl “drew” the Danube’s water in August 2004, one year after the „Joint water-drawing” at the river “Große Mühl”. He collected water at 7 places at the Danube’s source: From the sources of the two headstreams Breg and Brigach as well as from the source in Donaueschingen – up to the seepage of the Danube near Immedeingen. This water flew into the Nile on the 11th of April in Luxor during a joint action of people from different cultures from Danube and Nile.
